Andrew Halls

Growing up as a sci-fi/fantasy fan I developed a connection to storytelling and art at an early age. It gave me a playground to express myself and develop a unique worldview to act as a stepping stone to figure out what direction I wanted to go towards.

I became interested in photography during high school. With aspirations to become a filmmaker I started taking photos to practice cinematography. Starting with still shots of action figures in my backyard, I slowly widened my pallet by taking photos in local public spaces. I have experience capturing wildlife and nature photography along trails and Audubon locations. As well as doing street photography in towns in Massachusetts. Educationally I worked alongside my engineering teachers to design, develop and construct a fully functioning 35mm camera for my senior year portfolio project to graduate. Over that time period I became familiar with the innerworkings of a camera, which heled to heighten my knowledge and skill set as a photographer..

Since graduating, I have decided that what I want to do with my life is tell stories through a cinematic lens. I want to be able to tell stories through a personal perspective, to appeal to a unified audience.
